What Kinds of Loans Does Abe Offer?
Not every education journey looks the same. Abe loans are designed to meet borrowers where they are: undergraduate, graduate, and graduate specialty programs like Law, MBA, Medical, and Dental with fixed and variable rates for students enrolled full-time, part-time, or half-time. Wherever you are in your education journey, Abe meets you there.
Undergrad Loans
For students earning a bachelor’s or associate’s degree at an eligible school. An Abe undergraduate student loan can start as low as $1,000 and cover up to 100% of your school-certified college costs,1 with no fees, flexible repayment options,3 and rate discounts that reward good habits like auto pay18 and on-time payments.9
Grad Loans
For students pursuing a master’s, doctorate, or professional degree at an eligible school. An Abe graduate loan can cover up to 100% of graduate school costs,1 with higher loan limits for advanced degrees1 and specialized options for Law, MBA, Medical, Dental, and Healthcare Professionals.
Loans for Certificate Programs
For students enrolled in a qualified graduate certificate program at an eligible school. An Abe student loan can be used to pay for up to the full cost of certificate coursework,1 so you can focus on building specialized skills and a competitive edge for your career path.
International Student Loans
For international students attending an eligible school. International students can apply for an Abe student loan with a cosigner who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident,19 and get the same rates, no fees, and flexible repayment options3 offered to U.S. applicants.
Half or Less Than Half-Time Students
For students enrolled half-time or less at an eligible school. Federal student loans typically require at least half-time enrollment, but an Abe student loan can help cover up to 100% of your college costs1 even if you are only taking a class or two, whether you are finishing your degree, returning to school, or studying at your own pace.

FAQs
What is Abe?
Abe is a private student loan built to help students and families cover the cost of college after federal loans, scholarships, grants, and savings fall short. Abe keeps things plain and honest with clear terms, no fees, and a borrowing experience built around what today’s students actually need. Abe is a product of Monogram LLC and is funded by DR Bank, Member FDIC.
Who can take out an Abe student loan?
Abe student loans are available to students enrolled, or about to enroll, in a degree-granting program at an eligible school. To apply, you’ll need to be at least the legal age of majority in your state, or at least 17 if you’re applying with a cosigner who meets the age requirement. You can be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or Eligible Non-Citizen (DACA recipient) – and if you are a DACA recipient or international student, you’ll need to apply with a cosigner who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. A dollar or more of annual income is required from the student on a solo application, or from the cosigner on a cosigned one. Though not required to apply, adding a creditworthy cosigner can increase your chance of approval and help you qualify for a lower rate.
